More and more products will be bought online into the future, through the genius, drive and bush ingenuity of Simon. Keep an eye out at shows and on the web for the new ranges that are being released when we get asked to customise or get time to create what is in our heads.

In charge of manufacturing apart from myself are Virg and Shaun, {thier ugly mugs will appear on this site soon enough. Both of them have been in the shed for around 2 years now, and I have great faith in them to make sure a good quality product is all that leaves our shed.

The future is bright

More distributors will be bought on board to take this range to the rest of Australia and we are hoping by the end of 2008 that most Aussies will be able to have easy access to the furniture to puchase it. There are now outlets and distributors in Darwin,Far Nth Qld, down the east coast through to S.A. and W.A. Each of these people are great to deal with, and if they can't answer a question you might have they always have direct contact with myself or one of the boys in the shed.

Simon Fiske was a Drum Reconditioner, and had a spare ten thousand 44 gallon drums in his back yard. One day he went to his shed, with a friend {Leighton Wallace} and a couple of beers, created a chair, as it turned out it was very comfortable. Drum Furniture was born. That was 1999. It was 2 years later that the Seymour Expo approached Simon to show this idea to the public and this is where the story really began as people loved what they saw. The original thought was to create one off pieces of furniture to act as a talking pieces.

It was in this year that Dean from Oscar W's restaraunt in Echuca asked Simon to make furniture to suit his establishment, and so the galvanised furniture was born. At the Seymour Expo the following year a customer asked if Simon could turn a drum into an esky table, which he successfully did. So now from one off pieces of art work Simon had the most unique outdoor Aussie furniture on the market. It wasn't long after that the International Beer Awards committee asked Simon to exhibit at thier show as they believed he made the Worlds Best Drinking Furniture, which is a title he wears with pride.

Since then the products have been refined and expanded to include bar cahirs & stools, esky’s, BBQ’s and Bars.

All this came about by Simon’s drive to recycle and save the world,{and a couple of beers)

.
